Project Overview:

Tailored Air Limited was appointed to deliver the complete air-conditioning and ventilation installation for a new fire station office building. The scope of works included air-conditioning and ventilation to office and training rooms, alongside dedicated ventilation systems serving changing and welfare areas. The project demanded robust, efficient HVAC systems capable of supporting a critical operational environment where comfort, air quality and reliability are essential.

In addition to the variety of systems installed, the project was defined by extreme ceiling and service void congestion. Successful delivery relied on detailed planning, close coordination with other trades and precise execution—ensuring progress was maintained without disruption to the wider construction programme. All air-conditioning and ventilation systems were wired back to a Mitsubishi AE200 controller, fully integrated with the on-site controls to ensure smooth, centralised operation across the facility.

Installation of 1 Mitsubishi VRF system serving 10 fan coil units (FCUs) to office and training areas
Installation of 1 dedicated split system serving the communications room
Installation of 6 Mitsubishi HRU heat recovery ventilation systems
Installation of 5 NVHR ventilation systems
Installation of 3 dirty extract ventilation systems serving changing and welfare areas
Full system installation, coordination and commissioning
Integration of all air-conditioning and ventilation systems with Mitsubishi AE200 controls
